My journey on green living has been long and eventful. When I was just 18 years old, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I thought that was going to be my end. Just when my life was just beginning, I had to surmount a difficult illness. Fortunately, I was able to meet someone at that time who absolutely swore by the absolute health benefits of green living. That is what started me on green living. So while I was doped up on medication, I had to supplement it with healthy living.
Fifteen years hence, look at me, living healthy and free from cancer. This is why I am an absolute disciple of green living. I encourage everyone to take this journey with me.
But what exactly is green living? Green living refers to a diet that consists of food that is meat-free and food that does not harm the environment. My absolute belief is that if we do not partake of anything that involves cruelty against animals and without the use of toxic pesticides and such, we will be able to get the healthy sustenance that our body needs.
I am not alone in this belief. I have seen other people who have also taken the green living journey and absolutely swears by it in terms of health and a more positive life. I have found that not only are you healthier if you practice green living, you are also happier and more positive about life in general.
